Story
(Amount above includes totals from individual fundraising pages)
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. We (9 Royal Marines) are hoping to raise at least £7,000 in total for Help for Heroes by cycling from John O’Groats to Lands End in 8 days. None of the nine members of the team have fundraised (or cycled!) to this extent before so the £7000 target could be very ambitious - although we hope to beat it considerably!
If you haven't already visited our website, please go to www.pedal4heroes.com for more details on why we're doing this ride.
You can also join our Facebook group to show support - and invite your friends as well! Click here for the group
Being bootnecks we always like a bit of healthy competition, so what better way to do this than by having both team and individual sponsorship pages? If you'd like to sponsor the team as a whole, please use this page - if you want to sponsor one of us then please click on the names below for links to our pages (current amounts raised on our individual pages are in brackets so you can see who's winning on the individual front!).
Philip McDougall (£1630.91)
Daniel Ravenscroft (£1325)
Dean Haddow (£1116)
Gareth Hicks (£882)
David Cooper (£1481.50)
John Rosheski (£807.5)
Pete Klein (£691)
John Creese (£903)

The 9 individual totals above have been included in the "amount raised offline" section below, so you can easily see how close we are to the overall total.
Sponsor by cheque / Company donations
Companies can often take advantage of tax incentives by donating directly to a charity - and some individuals may prefer to sponsor us by cheque. If you prefer to donate this way you can send a cheque payable to "Help for Heroes" to Help for Heroes, 6 Aspire Business Centre, Ordnance Road, Tidworth, Hants, SP9 7QD.
Please mention in your covering note that the donation is in respect of the Pedal4Heroes ride and Help for Heroes will pass on the message that you kindly sponsored us.
Individual taxpayers can also download this Gift Aid form (click here) which enables Help for Heroes to reclaim Gift Aid on offline donations.
Thanks for your support!
Philip McDougall, on behalf of the Pedal4Heroes Team
