Story

As Chair of the Board of Trustees of Calibre Audio I'm delighted to be celebrating the charity's 50th anniversary by taking part in the Calibre Audio 5.0 Challenge #50forCalibre

Myself and my friend Gary, with support from Chris & Andy, played 54 holes of golf on July 2nd 2024 at Feldon Valley Golf Club. We tee'd off at 4.55am and finished at 5.35pm, racking up around 280 shots, 43,000 steps and around 21 miles of walking. The unseasonally cool weather was actually a positive for us and the quality of golf was pretty decent, given the overall exertion. The donation page remains open until 31st August.

Calibre Audio https://www.calibreaudio.org.uk/ provides a fantastic collection of over 16,000 audiobooks for people living with a print disability in the UK and overseas. Every day we send out 1,500 books to our members. With your help, we can deliver great audio content to even more people who face sight loss, dyslexia, ADHD, and many other conditions that block their ability to read printed books, so please give as generously as you can #50forCalibre
