Fundraising for Birmingham Women's Hospital
I had decided to run this years Birmingham Half Marathon, mostly to see if I was physically capable of doing so. I then heard that a colleague and football team-mate, Craig Kirwan, was also taking part to raise funds for the Tiny Babies Big Appeal after his daughter, Matilda, was cared for within the unit. Please click this link to read Craig's story:

This appeal is aimed at raising the extra £2 million required to complete the construction of the New Neonatal Centre and ensuring that it is suitably equipped to provide the highest quality of care to the babies and families that require it's services. The new building would provide space for up to 50 neonatal cots and would also allow for the care of preterm newborn babies from across the region.
Your support would literally help to save the lives of many new babies. It will help Birmingham Women's Hospital to continue being a centre of excellence for the care of sick and premature babies.
Please sponsor me and help make this new neo natal unit they are building the best place to save babies lives.
