Story
Hello Everyone!!!
First of all I would like to thank you for visiting my page. Now the difficult part...trying to part you of your cash. Most of you I'm sure are aware that I ran the London Marathon in 2007, and the agony afterwards due to the lack of training and running injured (I know...I'm getting the excuses in early). However this time, I hopefully will be fully fit, and I am on target to reaching my main goal of a 4.30 finishing time.
The reason why I'm even contemplating "running" the marathon again is two fold: the first being because I needed to find a way to get myself back to the weight that the above picture would make you believe I look like now, and secondly as a way to raise some money for a charity very close to my heart. For those of you who are not aware, my father (Ray) passed away on the 15th August 2009, having battled against bowel (primary) and liver (secondary) cancer since he was diagnosed on Boxing Day 2008. As you can imagine those 8 months were a very distressing time for both myself and my family, however made easier by the work of Charities such as Macmillan that provide so much for both the cancer sufferer, and the families affected. In his last few days, Ray (centre in above picture) was given pain relief treatment, which would not have been possible without the charitable donations they receive.
Please send this link to people who you feel might be interested in sponsoring me. Also please take a look at my fellow work buddy, Stephen Richardson's page who is also running for a very good cause.

Lastly, if you've managed to reach to this point I would like to thank you for your support.
