Story
Thanks for taking the time out to to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 23rd May 2010 I will be completing the 26.2 miles of the Edinburgh Marathon (Hopefully inside my current target of 4 hours). In between the arduous hours of running lunchtimes, evenings and weekends I intend to raise money on behalf of The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre.
Either directly or Indirectly we will all know someone affected by Cancer. For those who are not aware, The Beatson Centre provides the West of Scotland world class facilities, equipment and staff for the treament of cancer and is the second largest Treatment Unit of its kind in the UK. The Beatson Oncology Centre Fund was established to manage donations to the Centre and this has evolved as a Fund which provides extras for the care and comfort of our patients attending for treatment, training and education of staff within the Centre, purchase of major equipment/capital items and supports minor research projects.
If you want to find out any more information on The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre you can visit their website at the link below.

I hope you find this as worthy a cause as I do. You can donate through this site and the process is fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Every penny counts so please dig deep and donate now. I'm also in the process of getting my work to double any total raised (up to a max £500) so with your help we can make a difference (however small) to the lives of people affected by cancer in Scotland.
If you are feeling generous then please also take a look at my work mates page (Link below).

Although the Edinburgh tram project will be completed before he crosses the finish line, he is, to be fair coming all the way from Laandan and it is also a very worthy cause he is running for.
Thanks in advance
