Story

Adrian! What on earth are you doing?!
Well, I'm doing the swimming and cycling stages of the London 2010 Triathlon.

Yes, but why would you do such a thing?
Last year I just did the cycling stage and I enjoyed it so much I thought it would be fun to try the swimming as well.

But why aren't you doing the running as well, you big softie?
My friend Caroline got me roped into this lark in the first place and she can run much better than me.

OK, but why Small Steps?
Small Steps is a great little charity helping children and parents of children with cerebral palsy and other motor disabilities. Caroline's daughter Edie found Small Steps incredibly helpful and she would like to put something back into the charity.

That's great - you've really persuaded me. How much can I give you?
I'd like you to be as generous as you can. I've never done any open water swimming before and I'll be trawling my way through 1500 metres of deep, scary water in the Royal Albert Docks followed by a gruelling 40km cycle ride. Anything you give will be really appreciated and will make all the training worthwhile.

Thank you!
Adrian
