Story
Seven Friends walking the West Highland Way For Charity - Danny Fraser, Paul Hay, Phil Morgan,Mark Powers,Dougie Robb,Cammy Roy and Mark Sim ask you to donate generously.
We are just Seven Pretty? Ordinary guys who have decided to walk the West Highland Way at the beginning of May this year and raise money for one local charity (The Ayrshire Hospice) and one national charity (Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research) . The West Highland Way is 95 miles long, running from Milngavie north of Glasgow to Fort William in the Scottish Highlands, with a lot of hill walking and sore feet on the route.About 85,000 people use the path every year and someone has amazingly run it in less than 16 hours. We are walking it in 5 days which is equivelent to five 20 mile sponsoed walks one day after the other. Maybe run it next year!!!! What we are doing will be a great experience and the amazing thing is you can donate to our chosen charity and help people who are terminally ill and their carers to have better care and support nearing the end of their life. If you wish to find out how your donation is being used you can visit The Ayrshire Hospice Website If you feel you wish to donate to our other chosen charity Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research then please visit Our Sister Website. Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
