About Bridgend Foodbank
Bridgend Foodbank (BFb) is an affiliated member of a network of over 400 Foodbanks seeded by the Trussell Trust. The Trussell Trust is a Christian charity which opened the first Foodbank in Salisbury in 1999.
BFb opened in December 2009 and distributes food to individuals and families in crisis from 11 Distribution Centres which are located throughout Bridgend County Borough. The range of opening hours means that there is at least one Distribution Centre open each day between Monday and Friday.
