I'm running in my first ever marathon, and have left it very late to get the sponsorship wheels in motion.

One of my main motivations for running is in memory of my Mom who died of ovarian cancer, aged 69.  My triplet girls, sadly, only vaguely remember her, as she left us when they were 4 years old.  The girls are now 19 and probably my biggest sadness in life is that Mom never saw them growing up.

Whilst I haven't got anything printed yet, I'll be bearing Mom's name - Josie Rhodes - on my marathon vest, and, I suspect, be misty eyed for most of the 5-6 hours I'm staggering round for on April 25th.
