Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page for The Great Escape 2 Charity Ride. This will take place during the 4th and 18th June 2011. A Team of riders with two support vehicles will retrace the last flight of Sqd Ldr Roger Bushell, Organiser of the 'The Great Escape' form Stalag Luft III, on which the Book and Film were both based. The ride will start out from RAF Biggin Hill in Kent then on to Stalag Luft III in Poland, travelling trough France Belgium Germany and into Poland. The Team will be travelling on  Motorcycles donated by Triumph, one a replica of Steve McQueen's Bike from the Film, (to be auctioned off after the ride). We need to raise £10,000 for Help the Hero's and the Royal British Legion Charities,So please dig deep and donate all that you can spare to assist these two worthy Charities who look after OUR Service Men and their Families through times of Need and times of Hardship. Please rememer to Gift Aid if you are a UK Tax Payer, it cost you nothing, but the Charities gain alot.
