My name is
Kajetan and in April 2017 I will be trying to complete The Brighton Marathon
2017 for Teenage Cancer Trust.

As some of
you may know, a marathon is one of the biggest ever challenges some runners
could and can ever face. 26.2 miles of dizziness, sweat and gruelling pain.

I’ve been a
runner for quite a while and wanted to make a change, a difference in someone else’s
life that has been affected by cancer.

Being young
makes you think you’re unstoppable as well as indestructible, but when death is
just around the corner it makes you realise that, you are wasting precious time
as well as certain opportunities in your life; where other individuals would
wish for, but can’t as a result of being ill.

This is the
reason why I decided to run. In order to give hope as well as an opportunity
that others dream of. To get rid of this disease which destroys millions of young
and innocent lives.

I’ve never
been touched by such a tragedy and never wish others to go through it too. Actually,
I hope no one would have to deal with cancer.

It makes me
think, “What if I had cancer?”, “What would I do?”.

And the
real answer is. “Get help as soon as possible!”

But what if
some people just simply aren’t able to get any help?!

Yes,
exactly, they would rely on US! so this is why we need to act and gather as
much money as possible to help these people to fight and battle this monster
without any mercy! We need to show them hope, a light in a tunnel that would
give them enough confidence to start fighting.   

Yes, only
our support can allow them to start treatment without any time wasted.
