Why Am I Taking Part?

Every year I am aware that the Race for Life is happening but I never saw myself as taking part.

Earlier this year a member of my family explained that they are fighting cancer - their positive attitude towards their fight has not only inspired me but my niece, sister and mum to take part this year.

Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create a force that cancer can't ignore.
