Paige and Ida invite you to
Virtual Wine Tasting in Aid of The Lady Garden Foundation
When: Thursday 2nd July @ 7pm
Duration: 1 hour 15 minutes
Where: Zoom, of course!
The tasting, led by Ida, a Fine Wine Executive at Corney & Barrow, will consist of a white, a red and a champagne. A case of 6 (2 of each) is £125.
All three wines are made by fantastic teams with women at the helm, a white Burgundy, blended by C&B’s head buyer Rebecca Palmer in partnership with winemaker Celine Hirsch. Red Burgundy from Moulin a Vent made by Nadine Gublin and Champagne Guy de Chassey made by Ingrid Ourdart, who is carrying on her mother’s legacy as the fifth generation of winemakers.

We kindly ask that you make a donation to The Lady Garden Foundation for taking part and suggest a donation of £75 but anything you are willing to donate is of course so gratefully received.
Throughout the tasting there will be some quiz questions, a Q&A session on the wines, some words from Dr John Butler, Trustee of The Lady Garden Foundation and Emily Plane, a patient of John’s at The Royal Marsden but also a much loved member of The Lady Garden family, as well as opportunities to win some fantastic prizes. On top of that everyone who buys a case to join the tasting will be automatically entered into a raffle to win 1 special Lady Garden Hamper filled with treats and some additional wine from Corney & Barrow. The winner will be drawn post event and contacted directly.
Now that lockdown restrictions have eased, it’s the perfect opportunity to invite some friends round for an evening of wine tasting in the garden (Maximum of 6 people as per government guidelines though please!) Please share this with your friends and family that may be interested. The more the merrier!
Last date to buy your wine is Thursday 25th of June and your case will be sent out to your home direct from Corney & Barrow.
LADY GARDEN FOUNDATION: Today, and every day, 58 women in the UK will receive the life changing news of a gynaecological cancer diagnosis. The Lady Garden Foundation is on a mission to raise significant funds and awareness that can drastically reduce these diagnoses and devastating outcomes. The 5 gynaecological cancers, Ovarian, Cervical, Uterine, Vulval and Vaginal, are often referred to as Silent Killers, not only because of their complicated symptoms which can be missed by healthcare professionals, but also due to a lack of awareness surrounding these diseases.
