Story

I've created this page because I want to make a difference. I'm inspired by the work of Waverley College and wanted to support them by raising money as part of my participation in 2022 School Fun Run. Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about Waverley College, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Waverley College is a Catholic boys school in the Edmund Rice Tradition across two campuses - Junior School (Years 5 and 6) and Senior School (Years 7 to 12). The College provides a comprehensive education with students pursuing a mixture of tertiary education, trade, training and direct employment pathways upon completing schooling. The College offers a VET (Vocational Education and Training) program and has recently built a Technological and Applied Sciences building. A Learning Support Program provides support to a significant number of boys, including those with physical, cognitive, social-emotional, sensory difficulties, and literacy issues. Waverley’s vigorous Social Justice Program encourages all students to participate in outreach activities, and to develop a lifetime commitment to activism for the world’s marginalised in the spirit of our founder Edmund Rice.
