Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit ourJustGiving page.

The team is a mixture of Wicket Brood and Whitethorn and the team name is taken from one of Whitethorn's dances which we are hoping to perform as a warm up on the night of the walk.  This site has been set up specifically to make it easier for you to donate to the team as a whole rather than each of us coming to you individually.  This is the biggest fund raising event that the Hospice runs each year.  Last year your help with sponsorship meant that the walkers raised over £200,000 towards the £3.3 million required each year to operate services at the Hospice.  Our target is modest (£40 per walker) so please can you help us to reach and even exceed it.  There will be a lot of dressing up, chat, water, chocolate, aching feet, legs, knees and probably the odd blister or 3 to see us throught the night so think of us enjoying ourselves or in agony and sponsor us.  Many thanks from the Wicked Ladies.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - We raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
