Story

Dear all,

Following on from previous excellent fundraising - we will be holding the annual 5-a-side tournament.

When:
Saturday July 5th 2014 10am - 3pm.
We need to have cleared off by around 4pm as they have a wedding in the function room that evening - I'm sure we can all find a local venue if drinkers wish to go and watch the WC QF.

Where:

PlayFootball Southend (http://www.playfootball.net/southend/event_days) who have been very good to us in the past few years and have once again generously donated pitches for us.

If we can get the tournament big enough I am negotiating them providing us refs as well.

Format:

16 teams. 4x4 Groups (3 games each)

Each position will progress into it's own knockout tournament i.e. 1st Position from Groups A, B, C and D will play 2 semi finals, their own final and a 3rd place play off. 2nd position from Groups A, B, C and D play 2 semis etc etc (you get the idea).

This ensures every team gets the same amount of playing time and caters for all abilities.

Payment:
5 a side squads of between 6-8 people.
Donations of £10 per player will be required. DON'T FORGET THE GIFT AID!

What I need:
Help! - anyone who is willing to help with the organisation, point out where people should be going on the day etc etc

To reserve your space:

Please email scott.fautley@gmail.com for availability as a player or entering a team.

As always teams and individuals are welcome of all abilities
