Many of us know all too well how cancer can affect our lives.  Five years ago I said goodbye to my Grandad, he had lost his battle with cancer and left a huge hole in our lives.  At the time I was working for Macmillan Cancer Support providing emotional support and information to people on the support line.  Talking to people every day who are affected by cancer opens your eyes to a world you couldn't imagine existed. 

This is why I'm joining Cancer Research UK's 5K Pretty Muddy Race for Life this month.

Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create an army that cancer can't ignore. By sponsoring me, we will beat cancer sooner.
