Hello everyone! 

This whole challenge is just so brilliant! 

I will be getting fit - gym three times a week - and cycling everywhere on my brand new bike; (donated by a dear generous friend to train on!)

But more than that - this cause is just so worthwhile.  Lord Robert Winston is conducting research into women and babies' health problems.  Knowing that 250 babies a week die in this country through complications in birth is an astonishing fact I have learned through doing this challenge.  I have  two beautiful grandaughters and two beautiful daughters, the eldest one having miscarried earlier this year and gave birth to a healthy baby in December.  One of the things this research looks into is the causes of miscarriage. 

We need babies - healthy babies - to keep the world going! 

So thank you to everyone who has sponsored me so generously - you've made me feel quite confident that I will reach my target!
