War Child Project

War Child Project · 5 April 2020
This is an online fundraising event organised by a group of five MSc Project Management students from the University of Westminster. We go under the name Lifehelper and this fundraising aims to raise money for the charity War Child, as well as to raise awareness for the charity and the cause itself. War Child's mission is to protect, educate and stand up for the rights of children caught up in war. The charity currently provides support to children affected by war and who are trapped in conflict zones in 9 different countries.
War Child continues their vital work supporting communities affected by war; they are rapidly adapting to respond to the growing threat of the coronavirus. The War Child team in Afghanistan are currently working around the clock at the border with Iran, helping vulnerable families seeking safety from the sweeping outbreak in Iran. They are also urgently educating communities that they work with on the importance of effective hygiene and handwashing in order to stay safe.
These vulnerable children need your support and by donating, you can help to provide a better life for them. We hope you will support this cause by opening the link and donate any amount. A donation of £36 could pay for one child to attend the charity's child-friendly spaces for six months, but any amount donated will be much appreciated.
