I’m walking to support the amazing work that The British Red Cross Society is doing at the moment to assist with the Europe Refugee Crisis. This is an urgent appeal to donate so that The British Red Cross Society can continue to improve the lives of others, helping refugees arriving on European shores, providing food, water and medical care. This is very much a global crisis which is why I believe we can all improve the lives of those suffering at the moment. #WalkInSolidarity is my 4350km journey to fundraise for those men, women and children displaced by the conflict in the middle east. By walking the distance between Damascus in Syria and London I hope to grow this peaceful movement allowing anyone to #WalkInSolidarity and fundraise for this crisis. My goal is to cover 100km a week by walking to and from work over 44 weeks. Other events will be set up to allow others to participate and fundraise too and more details can be found on the website www.walkinsolidarity.com.
