Story
Our story:
I will be walking the distance of a marathon across the costal route of the South Downs on Sunday 21st May 2023. I will be starting at Eastbourne Harbour and finishing at Royal Sussex County Hospital Brighton.
I am doing this walk to honour our son Noah. His due date would have been 22/05/23 but heartbreakingly he didn’t make it past 21weeks gestation. Noah was born on the 5th of January 2023 in the Willow suite at Brighton hospital. The Willow suite offered us a safe space away from the delivery ward during the most difficult time. After delivering Noah we were able to spend precious time with our son before we had to say goodbye. This was made possible by the support from the amazing midwife’s and most importantly the funding from OWF.
OWF help fund private delivery suites in the hospitals and offer support during such a hard time for so many families. I would like to raise money to help another family in the future the way they helped us. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
