Story
Hello and welcome to our fundraising page, set up in memory of our much loved Aimi.
We will all cherish how Aimi inspired us, cared for us and made us laugh. Nothing was ever too much trouble for our fun-loving party girl! Her deep passion for providing support for the young people in our communities was inspirational and will be her legacy.
We are organising a memorial walk to remember Aimi and continue her amazing charity work for Love4Life https://twentytwenty.org.uk/
The memorial walk will take place on Sunday 9th October, 10am at Colwick Country Park. The route will cover 5K (3.1 miles) through the trees and around the lake, a mixture of concrete paths and grassed areas. The route is accessible for all, including push chairs and wheel chairs. Dogs also very welcome! We will have the opportunity to gather for refreshments at “Wired on Wheels” at the end of the walk.
So please come and walk with us and enjoy this special moment in time as we remember our incredible Aimi.
In addition to our memorial walk, Aimi’s friend Cat Lumb will be running the London Marathon on Sunday 2nd October in memory of Aimi. Cat and Aimi shared a passion for charity work and doing good for others. Nothing will bring Aimi back, or heal the pain, but Cat intends to run the marathon this year with Aimi in her heart and thoughts - with love and hope and as a gesture of strength and support for Nick, Amelia, William and all of Aimi’s family and close friends.
Thank you dear Aimi, these events are in memory of you and support the continuation of your amazing charity work ❤️
For the walk4aimi, we are asking for a minimum donation of £5 per walker. For further information on the walk, directions, parking and to allocate your places, please contact
