As many of you know, myself and Ryan were expecting a baby girl. Unfortunately I went into early labour at 19 weeks. Our baby girl hung on for some time but unfortunately I became septic and too sick to make it possible for the pregnancy to continue and eventually had to be induced. She was not able to survive the trauma of labour being so little and sadly passed away. Luckily we were able to meet her and spend some time with her once she arrived.
Thanks to the Lily Mae Foundation (along with warwickshire hospital) we were able to leave with little memories we can keep forever and our little girl was treated with the utmost respect.
They provided a basket, blankets, hand and feet prints on a charm along with many other things which supported us and will help us carry her memory with us forever.
This has been the second time we have been unfortunate enough to experience something like this, but the first with the foundations support.
We would love you to help us raise money for them in the memory of our beautiful angel baby Dotty.
We will be completing a sponsored three peaks challenge on the 22nd September - 23rd September with a group of family and friends. This is our way of saying thank you and giving back to a foundation that helps people through the toughest of times. Any donations would be appreciated so we can help the Lily Mae Foundation support other people who have to go through this.
