Story
With your help we have helped Nai's House increase Supporter hours and to run special group sessions for the young LBGTQ+ community.
Thank you so much for the generous donations and lovely comments.
We are raising funds for Nai's House in memory of our wonderful creative, gentle Virgil Rhone, who tragically passed away on March 3rd 2022. Virgil had been exploring their identity for some time, and was on a challenging journey of change, one which was exciting and life affirming, but became too overwhelming and painful to bear. Virgil could no longer endure the pain and so ended their own life, aged just 15 years old.
Nai's House is a mental health and suicide prevention charity for young people, who provided a safe space, much love and support for Virgil. Virgil felt safe and happy their, with their supporter Amber - a very special person. Their services are needed now more than ever, and so we ask you to remember Virgil by giving to this valuable cause.
Virgil was a beautiful, creative and sensitive soul, so please take time to remember them, full of laughter, passion and gentle quirkiness. Their sense of humour was dark and edgy at times and always hilarious. They have been such a good friend to others and have and have supported many who are on a similar journey, with a maturity well beyond his years. We are grateful that Virgil met his soulmate at Bicester Pride in 2021 and along with a small number of other friends had many happy times in his last few months. Above all Virgil wanted people to be kind and accepting of difference. He is profoundly missed by all who knew him.
Thank you so much for your love and kindness.
