Story
Friends and former Quest Overseas volunteers, the children of Villa María need your help.
In these three years of the pandemic, children in Villa Maria have been confined to their homes without having free time for healthy recreation and have not been able to share with their friends, which is why the Quest Overseas team is organizing a series of activities:
GAMES IN THE COMMUNITY: We want to go to each community and bring joy and more well-known integration games, such as Saturdays at the fair. Approximately $300 dollars is required to hold the Saturday fair in each community. We want to carry them out in 30 communities.
FAMILY SUNDAYS: Family integration fun, with a children's show, games, magic, sweets, prizes, etc. To carry out family Sundays, an average of $400 dollars per Sunday is required, approximately 6 Sundays in the Plaza Mayor.
CINEMA IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD: Project films in the communities, for the family in general, with a great message. $100 per week is needed (1 time per week per community, in total 6 weeks)
RECREATIONAL EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS: Recreational afternoons in community halls, board games, theater, puppets, stories, etc. 6 weeks, 1 afternoon a week. $50 a week.
COMMON POT: We also want to bring food (basic food) to the communities that need it the most and those that are furthest away, the more donations we get, the more children and families we will help. To help the communities with food for their common pot for Christmas, $350 is required.
PRE-FABRICATED HOUSES: We want to help 2 families by building their pre-fabricated house. 2 prefabricated houses, cost: $1000 dollars house house.
