Story
I’m running the London marathon in April to raise money for a British charity called Dogs for the Disabled. It’s a really fantastic cause that’s close to my heart.
For people who are right on the line between being able to live independently and having to live in care because they are disabled – these dogs change everything. The charity trains them to do things like open doors, empty the washing machine, ‘feel’ a seizure before it happens, use the TV remote – the list goes on. But the best thing they provide is companionship in an otherwise isolated situation.
Please don’t feel obligated, but 26.2 miles is a bloody long way (!) and I’d love to raise as much as I can.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. If you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
DON'T FORGET YOU'RE GIVING IN POUNDS NOT DOLLARS!!!! :D YOU CAN WORK OUT THE EXCHANGE AT WWW.XE.COM.
Thanks so much for your support, it means a great deal to me.
