Story

Lucinda is abseiling for the Lily Foundation.

Imagine an old railway bridge with pillars and arches, spanning a narrow gorge, and one of the arches is over a swift-moving river. This is Millers Dale Bridge,a disused railway viaduct on the Monsal Trail near Buxton in Derbyshire.

On Sunday the 13th July it is Lucinda's challenge is to abseil over the arch, which is above the River Wye. This is an epic 80 foot abseil of which 70 feet is free hanging. Please sponsor Lucinda and help her raise as much possible for this very worthy cause!

The Lily Foundation is committed to finding a cure for Mitochondrial Disease and other metabolic disorders through funding research, raising awareness of these conditions and providing support to those involved and affected by mitochondrial disorders.

Thanks Lucinda's family.
