School-friends since the age of 11, Toms (Reynolds and Cambidge (No 'R'!)) want to strengthen and unify the attack on cancer.
They
believe and respect that the 'pink fun runs' and the 'yellow daffodils'
are burning, bright beacons of societal support and that the badges and the ribbons are worn with pride.
But the attack is not unified.
Across the whole of the UK, men
(fathers, husbands, sons, friends and brothers) are not talking about
cancer...
There are men.
There are millions of men, willing to join in the fight.
- They need a symbol to represent them
- They need a colour to unify them
- They need a charity to lead them
We looked to see if there was a charity that was leading the fight against male cancer.
That's where we found Orchid.
We
looked to see if there was anything, so monumentally ridiculous, that
if we attempted to do it in the name of Orchid, we would help to raise
the profile of male cancer and help to promote the unity of the attack.
That's where we found... 'The Mongol Rally'.
