About The Uthingo Foundation
The Uthingo Foundation is a UK-registered charity dedicated to people-centered conservation. Our mission is to enable communities and wildlife to thrive and live in harmony together, by means of empowering, educating and inspiring.
We can do this by not only securing protected areas but also investing in those surrounding communities. We need to promote coexistence and achieve that connectivity. Rural communities living within and around wilderness areas need to see themselves as Nature's Guardians and active participants in conservation, if they are to become critical partners in conserving Africa's unique wildlife.
Uthingo's vision is to create the mind-set "For People for the Environment".
