Shave for the Children's Hospice, 6 April 2020
We provide specialist care to children with life-limiting illness

Story

As a proud partner of Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice, we've witnessed first-hand the incredible care and compassion that the charity delivers in our local community.  The Children's Hospice cares for over 370 babies, children and young people each year at our dedicated Children's in-patient unit - Horizon House and in our local communities through our Specialist Community Nursing Team. Our work also extends to families, supporting them from the point of diagnosis right through to the grieving period after bereavement.

During these uncertain times, Hospice Doctor’s and Nurses are still there, on the frontline, still caring for patients and their families in what is, a very difficult time in their lives.

The impact of COVID-19 has been challenging for us all - but extremely difficult for Hospice who have had to cancel all of their fundraising events and close their shops, and these are what fund the day to day running of Hospice - funds that the charity simply can’t exist without.

Please do what you can to support the Northern Ireland Hospice Emergency Appeal today. Any donation, however, large or small, will enable the Hospice to continue delivering its vital services.

If we can reach our initial target of £500 our Executive Manager Marc Scott and our Chairman Billy Pollock will shave their longstanding beards!

If we can reach £3000, Ulster coaches Paddy Grimes and Stephen Cuddy as well as parent of our U18 player Gerry McIvor will shave their heads!

If we can reach £4000, lonstanding Banbridge men Dane Ward and Luke Roleston, along with Lisnagarvey coach Stephen Arbuthnot will wax their legs! Get donating, every little helps!!
