Story
Hi all - I've completed my Workout Challenge! having covered just over 200 km in rides and walks, completed 6 Tai Chi sessions and a Yoga session. Please make a donation to help me achieve my target in support of CLEAR's work tackling plastic pollution in our oceans. You can see my Challenge on the Strava link on this page.

Waste that gets into our oceans has become a huge problem for the environment, ecosystems and human and animal health.
Indonesia is one of the biggest contributors to ocean plastic due to poor waste management infrastructure. CLEAR Community works with local communitites to set up recycling centres (known as waste banks) to remove waste from rivers and local environments so that it is prevented from reaching the ocean. Over the last 6 months we have recycled 4570kg of waste, including 1588kg of plastic.
CLEAR couldn't do this work without closely collaborating with local communities and recruting villagers to become Waste Warriors who are given the skills, knowledge and equipment to maintain the waste banks so that they can remain effective long after CLEAR's initial mobilisation, training and support.
This year CLEAR is engaging with more villages to establish new waste banks and prevent even more plastic reaching the ocean. To do this they need our help. Please donate to support CLEAR!
