TRANSPLANT UNIT GARDEN at Harefield Hospital

Fundraising for Harefield Transplant Club
£430
raised of £1,000 target
We raise funds to help organ transplants to help rehabilitation and improve lives

Story

Work is already underway and the Transplant Unit Garden is currently being created on the grounds of Harefield Hospital.

A place patients who are unable to walk to the benches and cafes on site can spend time with their visitors,  breathe the fresh air and enjoy plants, birds and butterflies in the garden that offers accessibility as well as privacy.

A little bit of peace and quiet, a little bit of sunshine, a little bit of birdsong - things like this are rare for patients that are bed bound for a long period of time.

This garden will allow patients to be wheeled directly on to a decking where they can escape the wards for s short time, either with their visitors or members of staff. Is provides a safe space for those who need it most .

We need your support and this project is not government funded.

Thank you so much for your support .

Best wishes
