Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are taking part in a 5 mile walk for the MND charity on Sunday 17th July. As most of you may know we sadly lost our dad to MND on 18th October 2010.

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that attacks the upper and lower motor neurones. Degeneration of the motor neurones leads to weakness and wasting of muscles, causing increasing loss of mobility in the limbs, and difficulties with speech, swallowing and breathing. Life expectancy is 2-5 years.

We have participated in the walk for the last 2 years and expect this year to be difficult without dad.

We hope to raise as much money as possible for the charity which helps MND sufferers and their families. Every penny counts so whether you can spare a fiver or 50p please please donate.
