thanks for your donation peter and the weather on ride through Saddleworth was very cold this morning. I hope it warms up over the next two weeks.
I got caught out on my training ride to Burnley today, that was 42miles of rain and snow I didn't dress for. the good news is I broke my personal best from Todmorden to Bacup and my training is on track.
On Saturday 30th April 2016 I will setting from Rochdale Masonic Hall and plan to ride solo my bicycle and visit all the working masonic buildings in the wonderful province of East Lancashire.
Last yest I took part in a group relay event and for the 2015 festival for the RMBI and I really enjoyed the weekend and thought it would be a great challenge to attempt to do the big hills of Lancashire on my own.
Day 1 - Setting off from Rochdale Masonic Hall will be spent riding to Todmorden, Bacup, Rawtenstall, Padiham, Burnley, Colne, Clitheroe, Whalley, Clayton Le Moors, Blackburn, Accrington, Darwen, Bolton.
Day 2 - Setting off from Bolton through to Farnworth, Radcliffe, Bury, Middleton, Salford, Manchester, Audenshaw, Ashton, Mossley, Shaw & finishing back at Rochdale.
This is a planned solo effort but if you fancy joining for a few miles you can call me on 07738303190 or email shipton1975@gmail.com or twitter @Shippy1975.
I will have access to my phone all day and plan to do regular updates.
