Story

Land’s End to John o’ Groats Top two Tail      13 April 2015

Hi Everyone,

My friends and I are cycling the length of the country to raise money for The Pied Piper Appeal who help sick local children, 100% of the donations we receive go straight to the children.

You can help not just by donations, Please share our posters with your family, friends and work colleagues, I have attached a image and impute our latest poster below that can be easily copied and pasted to emails.

Gloucester rugby club have kindly put our story in their latest magazine with a full two page spread, I have attached each page so you can read and understand our motivation and what is driving us not only to invest our own money and time but the gruelling  training routines we are putting ourselves through, it truly is a great charity and any support in any way will be massively appreciated.

Ok so let’s give you an update on what’s been going on since our last email, We have been training hard and so fare we have clocked up over 1200 miles including our first 100 mile day on the 8th March, we have just over 5 weeks left to book our hotels and prepare. We will be releasing our final day by day route next week so everyone can see when we are passing through your local area. if you would like to come on a training ride with us please contact one of the team who will be able to advise you what day would best suite you dependent on your fitness levels, everyone is welcome to ride along with us as we go on this massive journey but please let us know witch day you would like to participate as we will be moving at a fast pace averaging around 15 – 20 miles an hour in order to finish each day at certain times to get as much rest as possible.

Support and Thanks, We would like to thank Nick Pursey for all his hard work so fare, Nick has managed to get us support from Heinz who are kindly supplying us with 2 cycling tops each, one is in the Heinz red sauce design and the other in Heinz baked beans logo. Also power aid, Lucozade and Mars have all given their support some making donations and some supplying product Thank You. we would also like to thank Fiona and Lucy from Gloucester Rugby Club who have put us in their monthly magazine Thank You.

Also Dan Crisp and the Glevum Cross fit Crew who are all taking part in a local 10k muddy assault course and donating £10 each from there entrance fee will go to the pied piper appeal. Thank you to Ashley who has managed to get the support of first call who are supplying a free 8 seater support vehicle and to SFC who are not only helping day to day with the arrangement but also supplying all the fuel for the support vehicle.
