Top 20 Hymns · 25 October 2014

The church community at St Andrew's Leytonstone seeks to be a beacon of God’s love by actions as much as by words to all people irrespective of their faiths and beliefs. In addition to various events held at St Andrew's, many members are also involved in other volunteer work in the community.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Come along and sing our favourite twenty hymns! On Saturday 25th October from 2pm to 4pm the twenty hymns with the highest donations (as of 9am Saturday morning) will be sung in reverse order, with an auction for the last three at the interval.

What's your ultimate 'iGod playlist'? Do you have a favourite hymn? Want it sung? Donate here or get a paper form from Kathryn and return it by Friday 24th October. You'll need to specify the name of your hymn, and the number of it in the New English Hymnal (see the index if you need help. Or, if you like, you can just make a general donation.

Your support will go toward the St Andrew's Organ Fund. We need a total of £25000 to repair the bellows and keep the organ playing. We've already raised nearly £16000 but we need your help for the remaining £9000! If you're wondering why an East London church needs a pipe organ, check out what our organist has to say about it.
