In April 2024, I will again be taking on the challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon, to raise money for the charity Eyes on the Future. This is a charity set-up by my friend Silvia to support reasearch into a a rare eye condition called LCA RDH12, which leads to sight loss in children, and which her daughter Vicky has been diagnosed with. LCA is one of the primary cause of blindness in children, affecting 2-3 kids in 100,000. There is currently no cure.

Eyes on the Future are hugely proactive in their aim to accelerate research into this devastating condition (check out their website!).
