Story
I will try to keep this brief (or brief-ish).
In the formative years of my life, I struggled with stammering. I struggled to complete sentences and speaking was a real chore. When I was about 11, I got over it without any real speech therapy. I got lucky, but I often imagine what would have been if I hadn’t.
There are some 70 million people who don’t have to imagine, as stammering is a part of their everyday lives. So every year on my birthday, I try to take all that attention and channel it to this fundraiser. So today, I only want one gift. Make a donation to help kids who stammer get access to speech therapy.
P.S:
While stammering does not necessarily affect one's ability to sing or make music, I doubt if I would have the confidence to be an artist (or any confidence at all) if I struggled to get my words out in regular conversations. So for everyone who makes a donation, I will get be sending exclusive access to one song off my soon-to-be-released album. Think of it as a little thank you for your donation.
Note: If you do decide to make make a donation, please make sure to tick the box that says " I’m happy to share my contact details with Tomide Adeyeye for the purpose of thanking me."
Thank you, and this means a lot to me.
