We offer play & leisure activities in York to children with disabilities.

Story

In lieu of a collection for a gift - which is difficult to coordinate in the current circumstances - anyone who wishes to mark Tom Stoneham's departure from his long and successful tenure as founding Dean of York Graduate Research School is kindly asked to make a donation to York-based charity: The Snappy Trust.

The Snappy Trust (formerly known as Snappy: Special Needs Activities and Play Provision for York), is a registered charity which has been supporting children and young people with wide-ranging disabilities from across the York area, for over 30 years.

Tom has been a supporter of The Snappy Trust for a number of years, and a Trustee for the last three or so. As well as participating in the governance of the charity, he also raises money for the Trust through seeking sponsorship for fells runs, and similar.

More information about The Snappy Trust can be found here: https://www.thesnappytrust.org.
