Please support our fundraiser for Renewable World. Globally, 1 in 9 people lack access to electricity, 1 in 3 people lack access to clean cooking, and 1 in 10 people lack access to clean water. Without access to energy, these people remain trapped in poverty. Renewable World helps those in need by working with local partners to provide access to clean and sustainable energy, and involves communities directly in the process by providing training, so that they can benefit fully from new renewable energy systems. These energy systems can light homes and power businesses, pump water for drinking, sanitation and irrigation, and provide a clean fuel for cooking. Access to renewable energy not only helps to drive improvements in the health, education and income of local people; it also reduces environmental damage.
