Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Well folks, it's that time of the year again, when Scotland's bowlers take on England's bowlers in the "Thomas Taylor Bowls" International Charity Challenge. We are a group of bowlers from around the UK and Northern Ireland who meet up annually to "see who is best" and enjoy a weekend of fun, friendship and bowls. The most important aspect of our event is the amount of funding we raise for local charities, with everyone who participates being responsible for their own expenses. Last year we raised just over £10,000 and we hope to better that amount this year, however even to get close to this amount would be brilliant. Our chosen charity for this year's event is TFM Radio's Cash For Kids, as the evnt is being held at Darlington Indoor Bowling Club. Everybody who makes a donation will be entered into our Prize Raffle with some excellent prizes to be won!
We are indebted to Thomas Taylor Bowls Ltd, our main event sponsor, and also to Darlington Indoor Bowling Club for the provision of their facilities for the event.
I would just like to say a very big Thank You to everyone who takes part in the event and helps us to reach our target, no matter how small that contribution may be.
Roll on 17th April!
