The Hygiene Bank is a registered, people powered, grassroots charity grounded in community. We collect and re-distribute donated toiletries, hygiene, beauty and personal care items to UK charities, voluntary organisations, local churches and schools. These in turn are then given for free to their beneficiaries. Our passion stems from a sense of injustice: it's not right that anyone should face hygiene poverty. The Milton Keynes branch was launched in 2020. Your monetary gifts help us to create packs for those in need. Packs include essential hygiene and domestic products. As of June 2024, just over £8,000 of generous donations made to this page has enabled us to purchase and distribute hygiene products . As we approach the original target of £10,000 we are seeing the level of need across the city increase - hence we're aiming to hit a new total of £20,000 over the next 12 months.
