About The Wynn Trust
The Wynn Trust, a charitable organisation established to provide assistance and support to boxers who have suffered from brain injuries. Our mission is to raise funds and awareness to help these individuals reclaim their quality of life and receive the necessary support and resources for rehabilitation and recovery.
The Wynn Trust is named after our friend Charlie Wynn, a former boxer who tragically suffered a severe brain injury while sparring in preparation for a fight. Despite enduring numerous medical treatments and therapies over the past six years, Charlie is still unable to walk and requires extensive support for daily living activities. It is our goal to not only aid Charlie on his journey to recovery but to also extend our assistance to numerous others who are in similar situations.
The funding available from the government for individuals with brain injuries is limited, and as a result, many are not receiving the comprehensive support needed to improve their quality of life. The Wynn Trust is dedicated to filling this critical gap by providing financial aid, rehabilitation services, and support programs that can significantly enhance the well-being of those affected.
