I've always felt it was important to help others. I grew up poor and I saw first hand how difficult many people have it. I joined the Marine Corps straight out of HS because I wanted to make a difference and protect people from those who mean to do them harm. 

I ran my first Obstacle Course Race in April 2013 and I've been hooked ever since. I love the OCR community and have made many incredible friends through these races. At the 2018 North American OCR Championships (NorAm) in Vermont I learned about Back2Back and the OCR Gives Back mission trip from group leader Jeff Cain; I instantly wanted to join. I took my first trip to Monterrey, Mexico with OCR Gives Back in January 2019 and I fell in love. Everyone was so incredible and welcoming. I was honestly a little worried because I'm not a religious person and it is a faith-based organization. However, they didn't judge me, pressure me, or guilt me; they praised me for caring about others and wanting to help... it was amazing. I made a connection with a family in the Hope Program, raised money to ensure their daughter had a quince in June (which I attended), and then I returned again for the mission trip in January 2020. 

Unfortunately Covid concerns cancelled our January 2021 trip, but that doesn't mean the kids don't still need our support. I'm creating this page to help raise the funds they desperately need. Please help me make a difference in their lives! I'm going to be doing many raffles and giveaways, so stay tuned and let's do some good! <3
