Welcome to The Tutor Surgery and Friends quiz night with a twist!
At The Tutor Surgery we’re really keen on having fun whilst doing something worthwhile, whether that's helping out students achieve great exam results, or learn an instrument, or something completely different, like supporting a fantastic local charity.
The twist to our quiz night is that we are able to combine a fun evening in (staying in IS the new going out after all), for our students, tutors and friends, with the opportunity to support something great!
Bexley Moorings Project provides support to some of the most vulnerable and isolated young people in the local community. At this time the charity is seeing an increase in young people facing multiple issues including extreme poverty, more exposure to problems in the home (parental mental health or domestic violence) and this is leading to anxieties, low confidence and social isolation. The support offered by Bexley Moorings Project is either one to one, or within a group, supported in the main by volunteers.
Monies raised will help support those who are really struggling. They will be helped to learn self-reliance, develop strategies, identify solutions and how to achieve them and also help them realise their potential.
Each donation goes directly towards to cost of supporting young people, for example: £15 pays for one to one sessions, £10 pays for a group session.
As well as having a laugh and seeing how much of a Christmas expert you really are, you'll have the opportunity to donate to this amazing charity via this page. Each £10 donation you make will give you one prize draw entry (so £10 = 1 prize entry, £20 = 2 entries, £30 = 3 entries etc).

In order to be in with a chance of winning one of these amazing prizes, you will need to give your name when you donate. There are some T&Cs for the prizes in terms of expiry dates of gift and location restrictions. See below for gift specific terms.

Prize can be delivered if winner lives in a reasonable distance of Beckenham, otherwise can be collected from Beckenham

1 hour with 2-man Planet Turf team
Planet Turf will travel anywhere in the Bexley, Bromley, Lewisham, Dartford areas or down into Kent as far as Rochester/Sevenoaks.
No tree work will be undertaken, only gardening works.
Expiry date is 31st March 2021
3 x 1 hour trial lessons in academic subjects
3x 60min trial lessons for maths, English, science, 7+, 11+ or 13+, for students in year 1 to year 13.

All lessons will take place online or at the home of the tutor. All tutors live in the London boroughs of Bexley and Bromley.
All lessons are subject to the availability of our tutors.
Once the lessons are booked and confirmed by email, they cannot be rescheduled.
No cash alternative available.
All lessons must be taken by 31st July 2021.
