We are, husband & wife team Seth & Jodi, Partners in The Thirstea Co, a new cafe on the Roseland Peninsula on Cornwall’s south coast. We've decided to bake along with this years series of Bake Off, sell whatever is produced and the takings will go to charity.

Each week, one of the Partners, Seth will take a challenge from the show and attempt to replicate it.  He's not a professional pastry chef, just a self taught home baker who now happens to bake cakes for a living! 

Challenges won’t be timed as they have to fit around our busy cafe schedule, work and our 8 month old baby! However, we guarantee there will be failures along the way, as he's not given the challenge to practice weeks ahead! 

What ever Seth make's during a week will be sold on our counter in the cafe with 100% of the takings going to the Cornwall Air Ambulance. But you can donate here even if you can’t come to the cafe and sample! 

There’ll be plenty of pictures of the processes and the final results, whatever they may be like!
