Hi, we're Richard and Addy.
We really hope you have enjoyed our song and video!
I'm a singer and a songwriter by trade, but more importantly I'm a Dad to two wonderful little girls. Like all families across the UK and beyond, we're doing our best to muddle through the current crisis. But so many are finding themselves pushed to their absolute limits by the situation.
I wrote the song 'Hello!' with my 4-year old daughter Addy - it was a way for her to express her feelings about lockdown and send a simple message to all the friends she can't see at the moment. We asked her pals to join in and, before I knew it, my inbox was filled with voice notes and we had a choir of children all shouting 'Hello!' to each other. The Stay at Home Band was born!
We so wanted to do something to help where we can, and that's why we're releasing this song to raise money for the UK charity Home-Start, who offer invaluable support to vulnerable families across the country.
