Story
Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation's research and I'd be so grateful for your support. My Father in law, Chris Beaumont passed away suddenly in 2005, sadly not getting to meet any of his grandchildren. He was a giant teddy bear, the life and soul of the party and had that cheeky glint in his eye. He made everyone feel special. He was the epitome of a family man and was infamous for his Bbq’s and antics at England rugby matches. He died of heart complications, after having just been given the all clear from a quadruple bipass. I’m running in honour of the heart - the power and strength of the organ, but also recognising the weakness that exists too. With more research, we can saved loved ones from being taken too soon.
The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks.
