Story

I wasn’t able to do my Squash-athon unfortunately, as lockdown hit and squash stopped for about a year. Instead, I’ve entered the London Triathlon, which will take place on Sunday 8 August. It's Olympic distance, which is 1.5km swimming, 40km cycling and 10km running. I've never done anything like it, so think it's going to be a little tough (but also epic!).

I'm raising money for the Equal Justice Initiative, a phenomenal legal organisation which reviews the cases of convicted citizens in prisons across Alabama. It is proven that 1 in 8 inmates in Alabama are wrongly convicted and end up in prison for years and sometimes life, despite being innocent. The death sentence is still legal in Alabama, making the effects of wrong conviction in many cases very detrimental.

Please donate if you can!!

About the charity
