Story
Hey, I'm Samantha! Thank you for taking the time to visit my page. At the age of just 23 and on the 9th January 2014, I was diagnosed with stage 2B Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a type of blood cancer. After 12 rounds of ABVD chemo, 2 rounds of IVE chemo, 6 days of BEAM chemo, auto stem cell transplant, and several months in and out of hospital I was finally told I was in remission on the 30th June 2015.
After finishing treatment I became an ambassador for the blood cancer charity Blood Cancer UK and shortly after that I created Team Samba, I have raised just over £4,000 for charity. I'm so proud to be involved with Blood Cancer UK as they are such an amazing charity who support so many people affected by blood cancer, If it wasn't for the research they have funded I wouldn't be here today.
I will be organising and taking part in events and challenges to raise as much money as I can. If you would like to keep up to date with everything and to help me raise more awareness for blood cancer please search 'Team Samba' on Facebook and give my page a 'like'. All money raised will go directly to Blood Cancer UK to support current and future research so PLEASE give whatever you can. Thank You!
